Why it exists
People who work with drawings are rarely at the same desk all day. They are at the office, on site, at a client meeting, at home. Yet opening a drawing still too often means the one computer where the program is installed, and sharing a change still means sending files back and forth.
TrattoCAD is the answer to that need: open any drawing at any moment, on a computer, a tablet or a phone, work on it and share it remotely, with nothing to install.
Who we are
We are a team of software developers. We spent two years building, from scratch, the graphics engine that runs TrattoCAD: fast enough to keep drawings with millions of lines smooth on an ordinary phone, precise enough to measure on them.
The .DWG reader is ours too, developed from the ground up. Owning the whole technology is what lets us make TrattoCAD fast and light, and keep improving it quickly.
Where we are heading
Today the viewer is free for everyone: open, measure, comment and print. Next comes Pro, where a whole team edits the same .DWG at the same time, from any device.
