How the test works

Five steps, then the app is yours to try

Google Play requires apps from new individual developers to be tested by at least 12 people for at least 14 days in a row before they can be published for everyone. That is why we need you.

Confirm your email
Open the email we send you and tap "Confirm my email". The link works for 3 days.

Wait for the invitation
When the closed test opens on Google Play, we email you the link to join it.

Accept the test on Google Play
Open the link on your Android phone, signed in to Google Play with the same Google account, and tap "Become a tester".

Install TrattoCAD from the Play Store
From the same page, install the app as you would any other app.

Keep it installed for 14 days in a row
Google Play counts the days without interruption. Use it on your drawings and tell us what works and what does not.

How do you use CAD? required

Questions

Does it cost anything?

No. Taking part in the test is free, and so is the app during the test.

Which phones can take part?

Android phones with Android 8.0 or later. iPhone is not part of this test.

Why the email of my Google account?

Google Play admits to a closed test only the Google accounts on the testers list. We add your address to that list in Google Play Console; then you join from Google Play with the same account.

Why 14 days?

Google Play counts how many testers keep the app installed without interruption. With at least 12 testers for 14 days in a row, the app can be published for everyone.

Do I need a TrattoCAD account?

No. You only need the Google account you use on Google Play.

Can I leave the test?

Yes, whenever you like: use the link in our emails or this page. Your details are deleted at once. To remove the app, uninstall it as usual.
