Is the DWG viewer really free?
Yes. Opening, measuring, commenting, marking up, printing to PDF and sharing are free, with no account. Pro, coming soon, adds editing your own drawings online.
Which DWG versions open?
.DWG from R13 (AC1012, 1994) to the current format introduced in 2017 (AC1032), and .DXF in text or binary form. Not sure which version you have? Check it here.
Do I need to install anything?
No. TrattoCAD runs in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. The drawing is read on our server and only what is on screen is sent to your browser.
Do password-protected .DWG files open?
Yes. Only the person who uploads the file is asked for the password.
Is my drawing private?
Every drawing gets a random link that cannot be guessed. You can delete it at any time, and a drawing nobody opens for 30 days is erased automatically.
